This handsome wee laddy is Buster, a 5 year old Lakeland terrier. He’s looking for his new furever home due to a change in circumstances at home. He’s neutered, micro-chipped and in good health. He is both house and crate trained and can be left alone for a few hours without any issues.

Buster loves affection, he seeks it constantly and he’s not fussy who it comes from! He’s great with adults, older and young children and could potentially be re-homed with them subject to careful introductions.

Buster pulls considerably on the lead despite his small size, and has a tendency to try to walk on the road. Buster will recall to his name indoors, but can’t quite manage it around distractions. He knows sit, but would benefit from further training. These are things his furever family will be able to work on with him, with the advice and support of us here at the Centre.

Buster is keen to meet other dogs on walks. He will bark at other dogs on his walks and will react if the other dog reacts! He has lived with other dogs before and may be able to do so again subject to meet and greets. Buster likes to chase cats and rabbits, so a home with them may not be suitable for him.

Buster doesn't want to be left without you at bedtime, he needs a home where he can come upstairs with you and sleep near you.

Buster is a fantastic dog with a wonderful temperament. He has endless energy and enjoys a good sniff, we think he’d be a great addition to an active family.
